I pulled out my phone and snapped this photo while walking to the beach some time ago—one of those quiet, perfect moments that stays with you. I hearted it and added it to my favourites instantly, knowing I had to paint it.

What I saw and felt in that moment stayed with me, and I knew I needed to translate it onto canvas.
